Speaking about the song, she says, "I feel like this time of year can be really hard for a lot of people. You're forced to take stock of where you're at and what you've achieved, but it's nice to know that other people are feeling it too. This song is about the places we find home, and the people that make it."
Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I'm half-Dutch
My surname is pronounced kow-k & I always tell people to think of a cow to help them remember - usually does the trick!
I've been making music for years but just released my debut EP, Feels So Right, last month.
How would you describe your music?
For a long time, it was just 'sad girl songs' but I've experimented a lot over the past year or two and landed on something a little more happy in my recent releases. Now I would say it's soulful pop, but I'm definitely not done with the sad girl songs. They're coming.
Who are your musical inspirations?
I started playing guitar because of James Morrison and I fell in love with his voice. I usually connect with a voice more than a genre, so if a voice makes me feel something, I'm hooked. Recently, it's been more Olivia Dean and Lucy Blue.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
It was definitely a band. I think it was Westlife, but if not, it was S Club 7 or 5ive.
What was the first record you ever bought?
. . . Baby One More Time by Britney. I was obsessed with her, Shakira & J-Lo.
What's your favourite song right now?
I may be slightly biased, but I have Beacon by Martello on repeat. The production is flawless and his voice has me hooked from the get-go. The Irish music industry is so strong right now. Also loving anything from Aaron Rowe and Flynn Johnson's album The Green Box Theory.
Favourite lyric of all time?
This is tough but I love the lyrics of Vienna by Billy Joel. "You're so ahead of yourself that you forgot what you need".
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Dancing In The Moonlight by Toploader. I can't hear this and not want to dance. It makes me so happy!

Where can people find your music/more information?
