Dublin singer Imelda May has embarked on an exploratory and emotional journey across Ireland's Gaeltacht regions in Imelda May: Amhráin na nGael, and in tonight's episode she heads to South Armagh to meet a cohort of Irish language activists. She returns to Dublin's Liberties to share all she has learned with her sisters.

The Late Late Show, RTÉ One, 9.35pm
It's a bumper week on tonight's The Late Late Show as host Patrick Kielty welcomes champion boxer Katie Taylor, actress and activist Jameela Jamil, Irish jockey Rachael Blackmore and Dancing with the Stars judge Arthur Gourounlian.

Plus there's music from Irish pop and rock band Something Happens as they celebrate 35 years since the release of their iconic album Stuck Together with God's Glue.

The second season of Aimee Lou Wood and David Morrissey's acclaimed father-and-daughter comedy continues as Gemma (Wood) longs for her old life since welcoming her baby Sadie. She tries reliving a past night out, while Derek (David Fynn) tricks Malcolm (Morrissey) into helping seek revenge on his ex.

Greatest Basslines, Sky Arts & NOW, 9pm
The three-part documentary series Greatest Basslines follows three legendary bassists - Joy Division and New Order's Peter Hook, Foo Fighters' Nate Mendel and Melissa Auf Der Maur of Hole and The Smashing Pumpkins - as they explore the power and impact of the bassline. A starry line-up of contributors includes Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), Mani (The Stone Roses), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), Deego (Fontaines D.C.), Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd/Madonna), Krist Novoselic (Nirvana) and Adam Clayton (U2).

The Stringer: The Man Who Took The Photo, Netflix
In this documentary, a former Saigon photo editor reveals a secret he's been plagued with for 52 years, setting off a two-year investigation into the truth behind one of the most iconic photographs made during the Vietnam War - The Terror of War, more commonly referred to as Napalm Girl. The conflict photographer Gary Knight and a small team of journalists embark on a search to locate and seek justice for a man known only as "the stringer."

This 2025 horror from David F. Sandberg is based on the popular video game and stars Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Odessa A'zion, Ji-young Yoo, and Belmont Cameli as a group of friends who end up in a secluded area embedded with a time loop mechanic. They're trapped and forced to relive the same terrifying night again and again. They soon realise they have a limited number of deaths left and the only way to escape is to survice until dawn.
