Billie Eilish has announced that the concert film she has co-directed with Oscar winner James Cameron, Billie Eilish - Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D), is coming to cinemas on 20 March 2026.

The singer revealed the news on Instagram on Sunday night, which was the final date of her Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour at San Francisco's Chase Center.

"This is one of my favorite tours everrrrrr and being able to capture it and co-direct this film with [James Cameron] has truly been a dream come true," Eilish wrote. "Can't wait for you all to see it."

Variety reports that during a concert in Manchester in July, Eilish explained to the crowd why she was wearing the same outfit on multiple dates of the tour.

"Basically, I can't say much about it, but what I can say is that I'm working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it's going to be in 3D," she said.

"So, take that as you will, and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He's in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don't mind that, and also I'll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row."

Eilish's previous films include the 2021 documentary Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry and the 2021 concert film Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.
