There is plenty on terrestrial TV and streaming this weekend, from RTÉ chat and Hollywood stars to new comedy and awards-season drama.

Netflix's Oscar-tipped Train Dreams features Kerry Condon alongside Joel Edgerton and Felicity Jones, while Prime Video’s The Age of Disclosure looks at UFO claims, and Daddy Issues returns on BBC One.

Thursday Murder Club author Richard Osman and country singer Lisa McHugh are on the couch, and the cast of Moulin Rouge from the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre will be performing in studio.

Daddy Issues - Back for Good, BBC One, 9.35pm

New mum Gemma is living with her exasperating mother Davina, while Malcolm is stuck in a squalid bedsit. Gemma and Derek plot to get Malcolm back into the flat and reclaim some space.

Crazy Rich Asians, RTÉ 2, 9.35pm

Based on Kevin Kwan's bestseller, Rachel Chu travels to Singapore to meet her boyfriend Nick Young's family, only to discover they are extremely wealthy and deeply sceptical of her. Starring Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Gemma Chan and Michelle Yeoh.

A Man On The Inside- Season 2, Netflix

Ted Danson stars as a retiree who takes a job with a private investigator and slips undercover with ease. The second season sees him drawn into new assignments while juggling family life, in a warm comedy about ageing, purpose and reinvention.

The Family Plan 2 - Apple TV

With his past as an assassin behind him, all Dan (Mark Wahlberg) wants is a perfect Christmas break with his wife Jessica (Michelle Monaghan) and their kids. A mysterious figure from his past (Kit Harington) appears with unfinished business, and the family find themselves caught up in an international game of cat and mouse across Europe.

Train Dreams - Netflix

Adapted from Denis Johnson's novella, this early 20th-century drama follows logger Robert Grainier (Joel Edgerton) as he helps build the railroad across the American West, spending long stretches away from his wife (Felicity Jones) and daughter. With Kerry Condon in support, it is already drawing strong awards-season attention.

The Age Of Disclosure - Documentary - Prime Video

For viewers curious about UFO stories, this documentary sets out a conspiracy-theory case that governments have covered up evidence of non-human intelligent life for decades. Featuring interviews with former US government, military and intelligence figures, it presents the subject from the perspective of those who believe disclosure is overdue.
