Author Richard Osman and singer Lisa McHugh will be among Patrick Kielty's guests on Friday's Late Late Show on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Bestselling author and broadcaster Richard Osman will join Patrick Kielty in studio to talk about his phenomenal success as a crime writer.
His debut novel, The Thursday Murder Club, became a global hit and has now been adapted into a Netflix film, fronted by Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley and Celia Imrie.
Osman will also look back on his years in quiz shows, including Pointless and House of Games, and tell the story of how a near brush with MI6 during his university days almost changed the course of his life.
Cork comedian Kyla Cobbler makes her Late Late debut. The social media star built a huge following with her frank and funny online stories before moving into stand up, selling out venues at home and abroad.
She will chat about the realities of life on tour, why running a marathon was, in her words, a terrible idea, and how she met her fiancé on stage.
Fermanagh based country singer Lisa McHugh will speak about her recent diagnosis with Functional Neurological Disorder.
Earlier this year she revealed she had spent time in hospital undergoing extensive tests and temporarily stepped back from live performances to focus on her health and young family.
On tonight's show she will discuss how she is managing the condition and what is next as she prepares to return to the stage.
Northern Irish comedian Vittorio Angelone will also be on the sofa. Raised in an Italian Irish family in Belfast, he moved to London to train as a classical percussionist at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama before switching to stand up, quickly becoming one of the fastest rising names on the UK and Irish comedy circuit.
He will talk to Patrick about growing up between cultures and carving out his place in comedy.
Plus, there will be music and spectacle from the cast of Moulin Rouge, who are in studio to give viewers a sneak peek at the hit musical before it opens at Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre as part of its world tour from November 2025 to January 2026. .
