The band are vocalist Scott Kennedy, guitarists Craig "Goonzi" Gowans and Steven Jones, Ali, and bassist Davie Provan and they have released seven albums, including their most recent, Zenith.
Support for their Dublin gig comes from Disembodied Tyrant and Baest.
Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I used to play the clarinet before I started playing drums in a metal band.
I have an unhealthy obsession with Jordan Rakei's music, an R&B/soul/funk musician from New Zealand.
I've managed the band for the last 10 years.
How would you describe your music?
We have always based our music around a blend of melody and aggression.
Who are your musical inspirations?
It all started with Pantera, Lamb Of God and Slipknot as the main three. Then countless others that have entered our lives as we’ve grown older. We find inspiration across all genres.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
My first ever gig was Nile, Misery Index, Dew Scented and Hatesphere at the Cathouse in Glasgow. I think it was 2001 and is probably one of the heaviest gigs I’ve ever attended as a fan. That was me fully converted after that night.
What was the first record you ever bought?
I honestly can’t remember. I have fond memories of being given old Pearl Jam CDs from my brother, along with Nirvana, Queen and Metallica, but I can’t remember the first album that I actually went and purchased for myself.
What’s your favourite song right now?
As Alive As You Need Me To Be by Nine Inch Nails.
Favourite lyric of all time?
Randy from Lamb Of God always delivers. This passage from the song Break You always hits hard: "Everything suffocates in the dust of past fortunes squandered, The empire of lies to whom you pandered, Suffer a self-imposed exile, The bitter fruits of denial, In the presence of greatness, The humble can only bow".
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel.
