Irish acting great Gabriel Byrne will be among Patrick Kielty's guests on Friday's Late Late Show on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.

The Late Late Show team says: "Legendary actor and proud Irishman Gabriel Byrne will be in studio this week to reflect on his extraordinary career, life on and off screen, and 30 years since the release of his iconic film The Usual Suspects. Before heading west for the Dingle Literary Festival, Gabriel will share his deep love of literature and what continues to inspire his work.

"Fresh from winning both the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division and the FAI Cup - as well as qualifying for next summer's World Cup with Cape Verde - Shamrock Rovers captain Pico Lopes will join Patrick to chat about a whirlwind few weeks on the pitch. He'll be showing off the double silverware and sharing what it meant to be part of a historic season for the club. And if that wasn't enough, Pico will also talk about becoming a father in the midst of it all - swapping silverware for sleepless nights!
