Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre has unveiled nine new productions as part of its 2026 season lineup.

Next year's festive season will feature the Irish premiere of the heartwarming comedy Mrs. Doubtfire, based on the beloved 1993 film starring Robin Williams. The show will run from December 2, 2026, to January 3, 2027.

Also making its Irish debut is the smash-hit musical Mean Girls, inspired by the 2004 teen comedy written by Tina Fey. It will run from August 25 to September 5, 2026.

For country music fans, the brand-new musical The Ballad of Johnny and June will explore the lives and careers of country legends Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. This production will take to the Irish stage for the first time from March 31 to April 11, 2026.

Summer brings feel-good vibes with Legally Blonde (July 7–18, 2026), starring Amber Davies as Elle Woods, while comedy takes centre stage with The Last Laugh (July 21–25, 2026) and the stage adaptation of the classic Fawlty Towers (July 28–August 1, 2026), written by John Cleese.

Drama lovers are in for a treat with the gripping psychological thriller The Talented Mr. Ripley (March 10–14, 2026).

Dance fans can look forward to Chile’s acclaimed Ballet de Santiago (August 18–23, 2026) and the return of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (April 30–May 1, 2026), as well as Swan Lake.

Tickets for all nine new productions will go on sale Friday, November 14, via Ticketmaster.
