Donal Skehan brings some delicious midweek meal inspiration, it's the inspirational season finale of Build Your Own Home and there's lots of action from the Champions League in tonight's must-watch TV.

Donal Skehan's new series Real Time Recipes is essential viewing for some inspiration for no-fuss midweek dinners, featuring receips done on the hob or countertop in 30 minutes or less.

First up this week, a juicy roast chicken that's done and dusted in real time, complete with a clever instant gravy that brings the Sunday vibes to a Tuesday night.

Then it’s onto a bold, comforting smoky Thai-ish chicken curry, full of depth, ready in minutes, and perfect for spooning over rice. Finally, Donal pulls together a shortcut version of a bistro favourite with his cheat’s chicken cordon bleu that is crisp, golden, and oozing with cheesy goodnes. Genius!

Build Your Own Home, RTÉ One, 9.35pm
The season finale of the current series of master builder Harrison Gardner's inspirational show Build Your Own Home follows the story of 30-year-old Cian Murtagh. He was homeless and bought a derelict cottage in Sligo with the help of the fund raising efforts of his local community. Determined to restore the house, Cian hopes that it will give him a secure future.

Anthony Hopkins: A Career in Character, BBC Two, 7.30pm
From Port Talbot, Wales, to Hollywood, legendary actor Anthony Hopkins reflects on his extraordinary journey, paved by pain, rejection and addiction, but ultimately saved by love.

He describes how a deeply troubled boy, deemed a failure by his parents, peers and teachers, went on to achieve two-time Oscar glory in Hollywood. As his memoir is published, the 87-year-old actor meets Katie Razzall in Los Angeles to tell his remarkable story.
