Dublin jazz quintet Oceanna have released their self-titled five-track debut EP and play a short Irish tour. We asked guitarist and composer Gabriel Bellator of the band the BIG questions . . .

The band hail from Ireland and Brazil and merge jazz with elements of psychedelia and atmospheric production, bringing together elements of traditional jazz with contemporary and experimental elements.

Speaking about the EP, Oceanna say, "Recorded over two different weekends in Black Mountain Studios, this EP shows interesting aspects of how Oceanna speaks the language of music.

"Each of the five songs expresses very distinct feelings/emotions and takes you in a deep dive into them - but also allows the listener to explore the elements that tie the piece together as a whole."
