Westlife are taking centre stage on this week's Late Late Show, as Patrick Kielty welcomes Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan for a special appearance.
Fresh from announcing 10 homecoming shows in Dublin and additional dates in Belfast, the trio will look back on the band’s journey from boyband beginnings to global stardom. They’ll also talk about their enduring bond with Irish fans and the release of their brand new music. Viewers can expect a world exclusive performance of their new single, Chariot, along with a medley of Westlife hits.

Imelda May joins Patrick in the studio to discuss her personal journey reconnecting with the Irish language through her new television series Imelda May: Amhráin na nGael. The series explores Ireland’s cultural heritage and traditional music across the Gaeltacht regions. Imelda will also talk about her upcoming tour and her latest film role in Four Letters of Love, alongside Pierce Brosnan and Gabriel Byrne.

Comedy legend and author Ben Elton will also appear on Friday night’s show. Known for his sharp humour and classic work on Blackadder and The Young Ones, Ben will chat about his career highlights, collaborating with Queen on We Will Rock You, and his long-standing affection for actress Emma Thompson.
Rounding out the line-up is Irish actress Ruth Bradley, who will speak about her rise from Love/Hate to international hits Ted Lasso and Slow Horses. She’ll share stories from working alongside screen greats Gary Oldman and Kristin Scott Thomas, and reflect on her close connection with her Love/Hate co-stars.
The Late Late Show airs Friday at 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
