Westlife announce Dublin and Belfast gigs to celebrate 25th anniversary

Westlife are heading to Dublin and Belfast next September and October for a series of concerts to celebrate the band's 25th anniversary.

Called The Residency, the band announced on Friday that the first run of consecutive concerts will run from Tuesday, 22 to Saturday, 26 September 2026 at Dublin's 3Arena.

They will play Belfast's SSE Arena on 27, 28 and 29 October, 2026.

In a post on Instagram, the band said Dublin and Belfast were "up first" as part of a world tour marking 25 years of Westlife.

"We can’t tell you how excited we are to begin these celebrations," they said.

"This tour is a thank you to our fans who have shared the last 25 years with us. We can’t wait to perform our biggest ever songs and to make this celebration an unforgettable night for all of you."

The band will perform their greatest hits, including Swear It Again, Flying Without Wings, and You Raise Me Up, alongside popular hits from across the band’s career.

Shane, Nicky and Kian of Westlife said about the planned gigs that there is "no better feeling than coming home to Dublin".

"This city has been at the heart of our story from the very beginning, and to kick off our 25th anniversary celebrations with five nights at the 3Arena feels incredibly special," they added.

Over the years, Westlife has proven hugely popular with fans, with 16 Irish No. 1 singles, 14 UK No. 1 singles and over 55 million records sold.

The band has toured extensively and has sold more than 6 million concert tickets around the world.

Westlife has also headlined multiple sold-out nights at Irish venues including Croke Park Stadium and the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Cork's Páirc Uí Chaoimh and Markievicz Park in Sligo.

Since their reunion in 2019, the band has performed over 200 shows across 30 countries.

Talking about the 3Arena Residency, the band said that "every time we play here, the crowd’s energy is electric, we can’t wait to celebrate with you all and make more amazing memories together."

These gigs will bring their total number of performances at the 3Arena to 74 shows, a figure unmatched by any other artist in the venue’s history.

Tickets for the Dublin and Belfast gigs will go on sale on Thursday, 23 October at 9am from Ticketmaster.
