R&B artist ANASTÁZIE has released her new single, Kiss & Let Go. We asked her the BIG questions . . .

Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I moved to London by myself when I was 17 to study. I have three higher degrees in music. I am classically trained in jazz, both vocals and piano.
How would you describe your music?
Catchy, experimental and unique.
Who are your musical inspirations?
My music inspirations vocals wise are Nina Simone, Raye and Amy Winehouse.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
The first gig I ever went to was a jazz vocalist, Mariam Merabova, and I was completely inspired. I loved her voice and her stage presence. A few years later, she actually became my coach, and it was the best experience I could’ve had.
What was the first record you ever bought?
The first record I ever purchased online was actually my first ever song that I’ve released. It’s called Beautiful Time and I was cert happy and excited to be able to see my own music everywhere for the first time.
What’s your favourite song right now?
My favourite song right now is definitely Kiss & Let Go by me. I can listen to it over and over again, which is a good sign. Also, I love Dial and Meet Me Outside by Czech artist Naume, also featuring me. These songs have a great vibe, and I think the collaboration of a rapper and singer is always a fun and interesting project.
Favourite lyric of all time?
Favourite lyric of all time would probably be "I had good intentions, and the highest hopes, but I know right now, it probably doesn’t even show" by Adele. When I heard it for the first time, I got very emotional - I think that’s the point of good lyrics.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
If I could listen to only one song in my life, I think it would be one of my songs, simply because it would give me inspiration and motivation to progress and get better with every release.
