Ozzy: No Escape From Now, Paramount+, streaming from today
This feature-length, two-hour documentary chronicles the last six years of the Black Sabbath’s front man’s life as he faced chronic health challenges. The new film follow’s Ozzy’s journey following a life-changing fall in 2019, which forced the cancellation of his farewell tour. We will witness his gruelling recovery process, his battle with Parkinson’s, and how music became his medicine.
"It got me out of the blues," Ozzy says in the film. "That was the best medicine I ever had at that point." We also hear new interviews with his wife Sharon and their kids, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. Ozzy: No Escape From Now also features footage of recording sessions for his final albums, Ordinary Man (2020) and Patient Number 9 (2022).

Matt McCusker: A Humble Offering, Netflix
US comedian Matt McCusker makes his Netflix debut with this stand-up show. Nicknamed "The Shaman," McCusker is a comedian, novelist, and actor from Philadelphia who self-released his first special, The Speed of Light, in 2023. In this new show, he offers his takes on "manhood, marriage and raising daughters in a world he barely understands."
Never Mind the Buzzcocks: Season 5 (Sky Max, Now 9pm) – 7th October

Returning for a fifth season, this reboot of the nineties favourite sees host Greg Davies get the band back together. He’s joined by team captains Noel Fielding and Sophie Willan, regular panellist Jamali Maddix, and themed episodes featuring guest captains. This season’s guests include Jessie J, Patsy Kensit, 5ive, Bez from Happy Mondays and 80s icons Pepsi and Shirlie.
