Luvcat's debut album, Vicious Delicious, will be released on 31st October.

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I ran away with the circus at sixteen. I direct and edit all of my music videos with my best friend Ollie. I am learning accordion.

How would you describe your music?

We are like the band at a wedding for the dead.

Who are your musical inspirations?

Tom Waits. Frank Sinatra. My Chemical Romance.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

The Cure.

What was the first record you ever bought?

The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance.

What’s your favourite song right now?

Uncle Brian’s Abattoir by Trampolene & Peter Doherty.

Favourite lyric of all time?

"And so, a secret kiss, brings madness with the bliss, And I will think of this, when I’m dead in my grave" – Alice by Tom Waits.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

The Whole of the Moon by The Waterboys.
