Aimee Lou Wood has said she doesn't regret calling out a Saturday Night Live sketch that poked fun over her teeth.
In April, The White Lotus actress hit out at the late-night comedy show for mocking her appearance.
The 31-year-old star condemned the spoof, which saw SNL cast member Sarah Sherman impersonating her using a British accent and exaggerated prosthetic teeth, on social media.
Taking to Instagram, she said: "Whilst in honest mode – I did find the SNL thing mean and unfunny," she wrote, but said she might delete the post later.
In a recent interview with BBC News, Wood has said she stands by her comments and has no regrets about voicing her opinion.
"I don’t regret saying it because it was breaking a pattern, which is what I would usually do – what I did when I was younger and got bullied."
Wood added that on seeing the sketch, she thought: "I have a choice here to go in and be embarrassed about it and just say 'I didn’t like that. It was mean’."
She added: "No matter what chaos came from it, I’m still happy for me and my personal journey that I said something.
"I’ve gone into meetings with directors that I’ve admired and burst into tears and not been able to say a word and I think that kind of urge is always to correct, to say ‘I’m so sorry that I just did something messy’ and actually you didn’t do anything wrong."
Wood can next be seen in BBC drama Film Club which is set to air on BBC One on 8 October.
