Final trailer for Wicked: For Good released

The final trailer for Wicked: For Good has been released, giving fans a last look at the much-anticipated sequel before it arrives in cinemas on 21 November.

The film continues the story of Elphaba and Glinda, played by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, as their friendship is tested in Oz. The new trailer shows Glinda preparing for a wedding and stepping into her magical bubble, while Elphaba faces exile and her growing reputation as the Wicked Witch of the West.

There are glimpses of some of the stage show's most famous songs, including No Good Deed, Thank Goodness and For Good, as well as appearances from Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion. Michelle Yeoh returns as Madame Morrible, Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard, and Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero.

Director Jon M. Chu has said the sequel will bring more intensity and emotion than the first film, with the characters forced to live with the consequences of their choices. Fans can also expect new material, including two original songs written for the film - No Place Like Home for Elphaba and The Girl in the Bubble for Glinda.

Wicked: For Good opens in Irish cinemas on 21 November.
