Dublin trio Skanger have announced their new single, (Live To Fight) 'Another Day, along with live dates in Dublin and Cork.
Skanger are Mark Healy (vocals, guitar), Ingmar Kiang (bass guitar) Terry Hackett (drums). The track is from their forthcoming album Love & Violence, which is due early next year.
"Another Day raises the fact that the whole world seems to have an opinion on everything, be it from politics to whatever the latest fad is and how an endless train of idiots feel the need to ram their opinions into our faces," says Healy.
"Maybe there might be a better way to communicate as a society and get some clarity with our thoughts. It might enable us as all to gather ourselves . . . and live to fight Another Day!"
Skanger play: 26 September - Upstairs At Whelan's, Dublin and 1 October - Fred Zeppelin’s Cork, with support from Battle Skies. More gigs will be announced soon.
