Lewis Capaldi has said it is "surreal" to be announcing his biggest ever tour as he confirmed a series of huge gigs in Ireland and the UK for next summer.

The Scottish singer kicks off a series of eight outdoor headline shows at Dublin's Marlay Park on 24 June before playing Limerick's Thomand Park on 26 June, 2026.

He will play Belfast's Boucher Road on 20 August next year.

Tickets go on sale on Friday 19 September at 9am via Ticketmaster.

Announcing the shows on social media, he said it is "so surreal to be announcing the biggest tour I've ever done", adding that it "means more than you know".

Capaldi is currently on the road for a 17-date UK and Ireland arena tour.

He is due to take to the stage at Dublin's 3Arena on 29 and 30 September.

The Someone You Loved singer performed a 35-minute surprise set on the Glastonbury stage in July, two years after being unable to finish his set on the same stage when he struggled to manage the symptoms of his Tourette syndrome.

Capaldi announced a break from touring shortly after his 2023 performance at the Somerset festival.
