Sabrina Carpenter's new album Man's Best Friend has claimed the top spot on the official Irish Albums Chart this week.
The singer moves into the top spot this week with her seventh studio album, having been kept at #2 last week by CMAT’s Euro-Country in a close-run race.
The album is a follow up to 2024’s Short n’ Sweet, which spent an impressive 20 weeks at #1 on the Irish Albums Chart, and produced three #1 singles with Espresso, Please Please Please, and Taste, making it the most listened-to album of 2025 so far in Ireland.

Man’s Best Friend was released on 29 August through Island Records and features production from Jack Antonoff, known for his work with Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, and Lorde, and John Ryan, known for this work with One Direction and Maroon 5.
The album has already delivered multiple hit singles on the Official Irish Singles Chart. Lead track Manchild debuted at #1, while Carpenter currently has three tracks in the Top 10: Tears at #5, Nobody’s Son at #8, and When Did You Get Hot at #10.
Over the weekend, Carpenter made her highly anticipated return to the VMA stage and excited fans with the live debut of Tears.
She also took home the highly coveted awards for Best Album (Short n’ Sweet), Best Pop Artist and Best Visual Effects (Manchild).
