It's a sure sign that the nights are drawing in when The Late Late Show returns.

Patrick Kielty resumes hosting duties and - after two impressive seasons so far - we know this much-loved Irish institution is in safe hands.

For openers, Hollywood royalty, actors Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell will meet up with Patrick to chat about their upcoming film A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.

They will share stories from set and their experience of working together for the first time.

Following his decision not to pursue the Irish Presidency, Michael Flatley will join Patrick to reflect on his decision and the reasons behind it. He'll also speak about his personal journey with cancer and his involvement with a new exhibition by Breakthrough Cancer Research.

After hanging up his boots, Irish rugby legend Conor Murray will chat to Patrick about his new autobiography Cloud Nine.

Former President of Ireland, Mary Robinson will join Patrick to discuss urgent global issues, including the deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

She will share insights from her recent visit to the Gazan border and speak about the role of international leadership in what the UN World Health Organisation has declared a man-made famine.

Viewers will also be treated to a special performance from Kodaline’s Steve Garrigan.

It’s Polish Disney this time. The trailer looks promising! Fingers crossed etc.

It’s 1936. The 11th Olympic Games are approaching, and the eyes of the entire world are turned towards the capital of the Third Reich.

This is a rom-com about a young woman (Miranda Cosgrove) who joins a dating show thinking it's in Paris, France, but it's actually in Paris, Texas.

She plots a way to get eliminated until her unexpected feelings for the bachelor (Pierson Fodé) complicate her plans.

Maledictions, Netflix

This thriller series is set in northern Argentina, where the governor's daughter is kidnapped by his trusted man while a crucial lithium exploitation law is being voted on.

As the kidnapper's motivations are revealed, a secret plot that began to develop 13 years ago comes to light, challenging the girl's identity.

The race-against-time negotiation exposes the true nature of power, the limits of love, and the curses of kinship.

Vienna Phiharmonic Plays Mozart and Tchaikovsky at the Proms, 8.00pm, BBC Four

One of the world's great orchestras make a much-anticipated return to the Royal Albert Hall, conducted by Franz Welser-Möst with two landmark symphonies that each broke the musical mould - Mozart's Prague and Tchaikovsky's Pathétique. Petroc Trelawny presents.

FAI Cup Live, 7.00pm, RTÉ2

Peter Collins presents coverage of the FAI Cup quarter-final at Sullivan & Lambe Park as holders Drogheda United host Shamrock Rovers (Kick-off 7.30pm).

Michael Noonan of Shamrock Rovers in action against James Bolger of Drogheda United during the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division match between Shamrock Rovers and Drogheda United at Tallaght Stadium in Dublin.

Drogheda are keen to retain the trophy they won last year and required a penalty shootout victory to overcome Derry City in the previous round, when the tie finished 1-1 after extra time.

Kevin Doherty's Drogs face a tough test against Rovers, who are looking to win a league and cup double, and come into this clash on the back of an underwhelming 2-1 triumph over Longford Town last time out.

But it’s a tight ground, with the fans close to the action. The atmosphere should be electric and this game could easily go either way.

Live Athletics, World Championships, 11.55pm, BBC Two

Here’s a late-night treat for track and field fans. Four hours of action!

Coverage of the opening session on day one of the biennial event, held this year at Japan National Stadium in Tokyo.

The first medals of the event are awarded in the men's and women's 35km race walks, and the men's 100m gets under way with the preliminary round.

Heats also take place for the mixed 4x400m relay, as well as qualifying for the women's discus and men's shot put.
