When Hughie decides to proceed with the car auction in Friday's Fair City, Pete and Paul need to come up with a plan to avoid investigation.
Pete and Paul are worried that if Hughie's car is sold, their involvement in selling stolen vehicles could be exposed.
Pete previously suggested buying the car and stripping it for parts to eliminate the risk.
In Friday's episode, Hughie tells Pete and Paul that he thinks the car will fetch more online.
"But you don't know that," says Pete.
"I'm willing to take the chance," replies Hughie.
