There is a strong Irish presence at this tonight’s National Television Awards, with Mrs Brown’s Boys, The Graham Norton Show, and Boyzone: No Matter What among the nominees.
Mrs Brown’s Boys is shortlisted for the comedy prize alongside Gavin and Stacey, Brassic, and Michael McIntyre’s 25th Year Stand-Up Special. The series has five prior NTA wins (2013, 2014, 2015, 2024).
The Graham Norton Show is nominated for the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award alongside Michael McIntyre's Big Show, The Masked Singer, and Would I Lie To You?, while Boyzone: No Matter What is shortlisted for the Authored Documentary Award.
Among the night’s headline categories, TV Presenter features Gary Lineker, Claudia Winkleman, Alison Hammond, Stacey Solomon, and Ant and Dec, while the New Drama nominees are Adolescence, Code of Silence, Ludwig, MobLand, and Rivals.
Talent show nominees include Strictly Come Dancing, The Great British Bake Off, Britain’s Got Talent, The Voice UK, and The Great Pottery Throw Down, which Siobhán McSweeney hosts.
This year’s special recognition award goes to Wallace and Gromit.
