Mary Black has announced that she will retire from touring after her 2026 Irish dates.
The Slán Tour will take place in April and May, including a show at Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre on Saturday 30 May.
In a statement, the A Woman’s Heart singer said it was time to "step away from life on the road" after more than 45 years. "This next Irish tour will be my last," she said. "With my loyal band by my side again, I intend to make this final tour very special and one to remember."
Black, 70, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards in 2023 and an Honorary Doctorate in Literature from UCD.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, 12 September, at 10am from Ticketmaster.
