Ireland's World Cup qualifiers kick off today, Bryan Adams is amongst the acts on Radio 2 in the Park, Dublin-set film Amongst The Wolves lands on Sky, and the Irish Open continues at the K Club . . .
Pick of the Day
European Qualifier for FIFA World Cup, 7.00pm, RTÉ2
Streaming on RTÉ Player
Anyone eyeing up a trip to North America for next year’s extended World Cup tournament will be glued to this.
Ireland haven’t made the finals since the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan – you might remember something happened between manager Mick McCarthy and skipper Roy Keane.
That was then and this is now.

Joanne Cantwell presents all the action from both teams' opening Group F match, held at Aviva Stadium as Ireland host Hungary (KO 7.45pm).
With UEFA Nations League winners Portugal also in the group and only one team guaranteed to qualify for the finals, both teams will see it as vital to get off to a winning start this evening.
The last time the teams met was in a friendly last year, when goals by Adam Idah and Troy Parrott gave Ireland a 2-1 win at the D4 venue.
Tonight’s coverage includes analysis from Didi Hamann and Richie Sadlier.

Centuries later, he learns she has been reincarnated, and travels to Victorian London with the intent of seducing her into joining him in living death.
My Week with Marilyn, 12.05am, BBC One
Here’s a late-night treat, with Michelle Williams (below) in great form as the legendary Marilyn Monroe.
It’s a fact-based drama, starring Williams, Eddie Redmayne, Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench and Emma Watson.
Redmayne plays a film student who gets a job as a production assistant on the set of movie The Prince and the Showgirl.
He bears witness to the clash of conflicting personalities between leads Marilyn Monroe and Laurence Olivier, and becomes a confidant of the troubled, lonely Hollywood actress.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, 10.10pm, Channel 4
This is my favourite film by the maverick Quentin Tarantino, and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt (below), Margot Robbie, Timothy Olyphant and Al Pacino.
It’s a tale set at a time of change in Hollywood, with the backdrop of one of Tinseltown’s most gruesome acts of murder.
Faded television actor Rick Dalton and his stunt double Cliff Booth strive to hang on to their careers during the final years of Hollywood's Golden Age in 1969 Los Angeles.
As they navigate a changing film industry they barely recognise any more, they are drawn into the orbit of both ill-fated rising star Sharon Tate, as well as Charles Manson and his deadly cult of zealous followers.
Here's Sarah McIntyre's review.

Jacqui Hurley presents all the action from England v Australia (Kick-off 5.00pm), the third and final match in Pool A for both teams, held at AMEX Stadium in Brighton.
These nations met in the quarter-finals of this competition three years ago in New Zealand, when England claimed an emphatic 41-5 victory with the help of a hat-trick of tries from Marlie Packer.
The coverage includes analysis from Darren Cave and Dorothy Wall, and commentary by Connor Morris and Anna Caplice.
