RTÉ TV presenter and radio host Brendan Courtney has revealed that his new home has been damaged in a car crash.
The Keys To My Life host carried out major renovations on his Wicklow home in May 2024.

Courtney said in a video on social media: "I have literally spent my entire life savings on this house."

He explained what happened in an Instagram post, saying, "Eh so basically, a very nice old woman ploughed into the front of my house tonight.

"Smashed the wall. The wall flew across the street, smashed into my car, smashed into the house, and has done unbelievable damage. The Keys To My Life."
The former Off The Rails presenter found footage on his Ring Doorbell device showing how lucky he was not to have been still at the front of his house.
He said: " I am actually very lucky, So I've had to gather and review the footage of my security camera and ring doorbell.
"So this is me coming home from my sister's last night, there's Nancy (his dog) in the background, this is the different angle from the doorbell, I'm fannying around on the phone, everything's still intact and look at the dog and then I'm like teenage girl, just check the phone again." He added.
"Messing around on the phone for ages when I think of it now and then I eventually let myself in. And this is the view sometime later, I am so lucky, I am so lucky for the support of all the lovely people, I am so lucky I am not hurt and I'm so grateful, the woman who was driving the car isn't hurt. She was in the hospital for the night.
"She's out, she's a lovely 84-year-old woman. It was just a horrible accident and I'm so grateful to Lark Rock Builders who turned up like therapists, superheroes this morning and boarded up outside. I'm so lucky thank you."
