A special benefit performance of The Weir has been announced, which will be held in honour of the late actor and broadcaster Seán Rocks, and St Francis Hospice, Dublin on Wednesday, 3 September at 2:30pm at the 3Olympia Theatre.
The announcement has been made by Landmark Productions and Kate Horton Productions in association with the theatre today, and tickets will go on sale tomorrow morning, Tuesday 26 August, at 10am.

Seán Rocks, who presented RTÉ Radio 1's nightly arts and culture show Arena for 16 years, died on 30 July after a brief illness. He was 64.
The benefit performance in honour of Seán Rocks and St Francis Hospice is being added to the current sold-out run of The Weir, which is directed for the first time by its writer, Conor McPherson, and stars the multi-award-winning actors Brendan Gleeson, Seán McGinley, Kate Phillips, Tom-Vaughan Lawlor, and Owen McDonnell.

Tickets for the performance at the 3Olympia Theatre will be available from Ticketmaster and are priced €100, €80, and €70 plus credit card fees.
