Dubliners looking skyward last night were given a surprise preview of this weekend's biggest music event when drones spelled out "Oasis" above Croke Park.
The light show, featuring hundreds of drones, lit up the sky in tribute to the band, who play two sold-out shows at the stadium on Saturday and Sunday.
The Manchester group’s return to Ireland has been one of the most anticipated gigs of the summer, with more than 160,000 fans set to attend across the two nights.
Croke Park will be their first Irish shows since they headlined Slane Castle in 2009, just two months before they broke up following a row between Noel and Liam Gallagher in Paris.
