Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I love spending my free time doing anything creative, even if I'm terrible at it. I'm against the idea of ever feeling like you're too old for something. I love animals so much and think dogs deserve to be spoiled rotten.

How would you describe your music?

I avoid doing that if I can! I hate trying to describe it because I want to change my mind with it when I want, but I generally say a mixture of alt, indie, pop.

Who are your musical inspirations?

Artists like early Grimes, Charli XCX, Tove Lo, Caroline Polachek. Generally, artists that aren't served completely palatable or understandable at first but absolutely have a vision and take their own risks. Also, I'm a sucker for interesting visuals.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

It was HIM! I was obsessed at the time. I actually had a countdown calendar on my wall. It was pushed to a different date at one point cause the guitarist broke his arm and I cried like a baby. My brothers were asked to stop laughing at their crying sister at the dinner table that night.

What was the first record you ever bought?

Also, HIM. It was called Razorblade Romance and I got to buy it as a present for getting out of hospital after a chronic asthma attack lol.

What's your favourite song right now?

I'm bouncing between Tell Me I Never Knew That by Caroline Polachek and Cartoon Sex by Miki at the moment.

Favourite lyric of all time?

Impossible pick but, 'And why would you believe you could control how you're perceived, When at your best, you're intermediately versed in your own feelings?' Hit me hard when I first heard it. Also, the line "I can't even say your name" by The Ocelots makes me feel sick, in exactly the way you do when you're in a situation like that in your life. I do love lyrics that are exactly how you'd say it outside of a song but get it so right.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Actually, maybe this is the impossible question. Right now, I'm going to say Paprika by Japanese Breakfast. That song fills me with so many good feelings.

Where can people find your music/more information?

Instagram or TikTok! There's link and updates to everything from there!
