Sharon urges Emma to listen to her about James in Tuesday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Emma's son has been beaten up by a loan shark - and Sharon says James's problems are not over.
"Moneylenders, they're all the same," she tells Emma. "Dangerous."
"You need to get him out of it - as soon as possible," Sharon warns.
