Speaking about the event, he says, "I’ve got a day party coming up 1 June, and our flagship show DJ Jesse & Friends returns later this year - with a live band, dancers, guest DJs, and full visual production. It’s more than a gig - it’s an experience.

"With Disturbing Entertainment, we’re building something that’s changing how nights out feel in Dublin. More culture. More creativity. More connection. This is what the next wave looks like."

Tell us three things about yourself…

I’m Irish Nigerian and proud of both cultures. I studied Computer Programming with Electrical and Electronic Engineering at DIT - now known as TUD - before diving fully into music and events.

I’ve always been into music. I can play a bit of piano, drums, bass… and even the triangle when needed.

Outside of music, I’m big on creating spaces - whether that’s building events or just connecting people. I love seeing others win and helping make that happen.

How would you describe your music?

Genre-fluid but purpose-driven. I blend Hip-Hop, Pop, Amapiano, Afrobeats, R&B and global club sounds - but it’s never just about genre. It’s about energy. Every set is crafted to connect with the crowd, the vibe, and the moment.

Who are your musical inspirations?

Burna Boy for making African sound global. Black Coffee, for his longevity and depth. Closer to home, artists like Offica and Travis & Elzzz - they’re pushing Irish culture forward on their own terms. I also look up to DJs and promoters in Ireland who’ve laid the foundation long before me - they carved out space for all of us coming up now.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

It was actually a wedding - my brother’s friend asked me to DJ. I was nervous and barely had the gear, but once I saw how the right songs could bring people together, I knew this was it for me. That night showed me music’s real power: to create moments people remember.

What was the first record you ever bought?

It was Good Kid, M.A.A.D City by Kendrick Lamar. The storytelling, the production, it felt like a movie. That album made me realise music could be cinematic and personal at the same time.

What’s your favourite song right now?

Right now, I’ve got Redemption by Headie One & Nemzzz on repeat, and APT by Bruno Mars is always playing in the background thanks to my younger cousins. Both are catchy, clean energy in different ways.

Favourite lyric of all time?

"Sky is the limit and you know that you can have what you want, be what you want." - The Notorious B.I.G. That line has always stuck with me. It’s a reminder that there are no real limits, especially coming from where I’m from, doing what I do. You’ve just got to believe in the vision and put in the work. That lyric is fuel.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Essence by Wizkid ft. Tems. It’s soulful, timeless, and emotionally layered, whether you’re on a late-night drive or playing to a packed room, it just resonates. It reminds me why I do what I do: to bring people into moments that feel unforgettable.
