Julianne Moore heads the cast of Sirens, The Horne Section TV Show returns for a new run, as does Nicole Kidman's Nine Perfect Strangers, while Greg Davies' trousers are in trouble on this week's Taskmaster . . .
Pick of the Day
Sirens, Netflix
It’s not a hard and fast rule – but generally, anything featuring Julianne Moore is worth a look at least.
And no, it's got nothing to do with the Hugh Grant-starring movie of the same name from the mid-1990s.
This new drama tells the darkly comic story of an underdog.
Devon - played by Meghann Fahy, who you might recall from season 2 of The White Lotus - thinks her sister Simone (Milly Alcock) has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell.
Julianne Moore stars as Michaela, whose cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention, but she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be.
Told over the course of one explosive weekend at The Kells’ lavish island estate, Sirens promises to be an incisive, sexy, and darkly funny exploration of women, power, and class.

New to Stream
Nine Perfect Strangers, Prime Video
It’s Season 2 of the drama starring Nicole Kidman as a secretive healing guru.
This time around, guru Masha Dmitrichenko is leaving California behind and taking a group of nine strangers for a transformational wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps.
Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink, forcing them to connect in ways they could never imagine at the retreat, while Masha herself is forced to confront some past demons.
These demons are threatening to destroy both her own personal wellness and that of her guests.
The series is based on a novel by Liane Moriarty, who is also the author of Big Little Lies, which also featured Kidman.
A lot of reviews have been less than complimentary – so this season carries a bit of a health warning.

RHS Chelsea Flower Show, 8.00pm, BBC Two
I have a minimal relationship with the garden. But the subject of this episode of the Chelsea Flower Show struck me as interesting.
