Eurovision Song Contest Semi-Final 2025, RTÉ2

Streaming on RTÉ Player

The second semi-final, live from Basel in Switzerland, in which Ireland's entry Laika Party, performed by Emmy, takes its place alongside 15 other hopefuls.

Marty Whelan (above, at last year's Eurovision) provides the commentary for the show, which is presented by comedian Hazel Brugger and actress and singer Sandra Studer.

Fingers crossed Ireland make it through to Saturday’s song showdown, though there’s a pretty good chance that someone – either inside or outside the Eurovision camp, maybe even both – demonstrates against the participation of Israel.

Ireland in and Israel out would make a nice double.
