Dean visits Tyler in prison in Sunday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Having saved the on-remand Mark from a beating, Tyler is keen to flex his own muscles from behind bars.
Dean is stunned when Tyler demands the Halpins drop the charges against him in exchange for Mark's protection.
"I want Mairéad and Damien to be on my side," says Tyler. "They need to stand up in court and make these charges go away!"
