The Irish screenwriting festival Storyhouse has announced new speakers for this year's event, including BAFTA-winning This Way Up writer Aisling Bea and Fréwaka writer-director Aislinn Clarke.
The festival, now in its second year of celebrating the art of storytelling, will also welcome BAFTA-winning filmmaker Savanah Leaf (Earth Mama), writer Cara Loftus (Spilt Milk), writer Courttia Newland (Small Axe), director Morgan Matthews (X+Y), writer-director Prano Bailey-Bond (Censor), writer Richie Conroy (Fran The Man) and writer-director Tom Sullivan (Arracht).
Oscar winners Peter Straughan (Conclave) and Kenneth Lonergan (Manchester by the Sea), Sex Education creator Laurie Nunn, and The Marvels director Nia DaCosta are among the previously announced speakers.
The festival has also announced hosts for the events taking place across the two days, including writer-director Lenny Abrahamson (Room, Normal People), writer Mark O'Halloran (Adam & Paul, Garage) writer Stephen Shields (Abigail), writer-director Frank Berry (Michael Inside), writer-director Kate Dolan (You Are Not My Mother), writer Sheena Lambert (The Lake), producer Emma Norton (The Dry) and producer Chelsea Morgan-Hoffman (The Listeners).

The festival will be held in Dublin's Light House Cinema on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 April.
Storyhouse is a not-for-profit initiative of Element Pictures, the company behind films such as Poor Things, The Favourite, and the acclaimed TV series Normal People, and is spearheaded by co-CEO Ed Guiney.
The festival is supported by Screen Ireland, Fremantle, and Element Pictures and is produced in association with the Light House Cinema.
