Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro has married actress and fashion designer Vanessa DuBasso in Scotland.
The former Red Hot Chili Pepper guitarist and the True Blood actress told People magazine that they had always dreamed of a castle wedding. When they came across photos of Dunskey Castle in Stranraer, Scotland, they knew it was the perfect place to tie the knot.
Navarro said: "We wanted our wedding to feel like a dream. It was important to us to find a place that felt unlike anywhere we had ever been, a place that embraced nature and transported us to another world."
DuBasso continued: "I was immediately drawn to Dave's green chestnut eyes, tattoos and dark comedic humour," she said. "His whole being is powerfully magnetic, and it was love at first sight.
"I've never felt this way about anyone," she shared, "He's the love of my life."
Last year, the guitarist was punched by Jane's Addiction lead singer Perry Farrell during a concert in Boston. After the incident, Perry offered a "heartfelt apology" for the on-stage fight.
The band, who reunited after more than a decade for a tour and played Trinity College over the summer, cancelled the next date at Hartford Healthcare Amphitheatre in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Known for the songs Jane Says and Been Caught Stealing, Jane’s Addiction released four albums - Nothing’s Shocking (1988), Ritual De Lo Habitual (1990), Strays (2003), and The Great Escape Artist (2011).
In 2013 the band were honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
