James's bid to get more information on Tyler takes a twist in Tuesday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Having agreed a deal to go back on the payroll as a garda informant, James is trying to get new evidence linking Tyler to Laura's murder.
However, in their latest encounter, Tyler has the upper hand.
"Any big interviews lately?" he asks.
"Ah, nothing worth mentioning," replies James.
"What about the one this morning between you and Garda Taylor?" presses Tyler. "What was that about?"
