Fair City fans are in for a treat this Sunday as the much-loved Cass, played by Eamon Morrissey, celebrates a milestone birthday.
Teeing up what's ahead in Carrigstown, Fair City says: "Carrigstown is getting ready to celebrate a milestone moment as Cass Cassidy marks his 85th birthday (a year late!) in a way only he can - with a little bit of fun, a lot of laughter, and one very special surprise guest.
"Though Cass is turning 86, he wanted a big celebration so tricked his family into throwing a big 85th bash! Cass's wish for a grand party becomes a reality as the extended Cassidy family, neighbours, and friends gather to celebrate his big day. The excitement escalates when a very esteemed guest arrives - Waylon Gary White Deer from the Choctaw Nation.

"Waylon, a Chocktaw artist and published author who resides in Donegal, is no stranger to Carrigstown. He first appeared on screen in 2013 portraying Cass's long-lost friend.
"Waylon's appearance in Fair City commemorates the historic link between the Irish and the Choctaw Nation, stemming from the Choctaw's generous donation to help starving Irish families during the Great Famine of the 1840s.
"The party promises a lot of heartwarming moments, with Cass surrounded by friends and family."

Fans can watch the fun on Sunday on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player at 8:30pm.
