McGinley's Bar in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal has been named as the IMRO National Live Music Venue of the Year 2025 following a public vote.
Venues, festivals and music crews across Ireland were recognised at the award ceremony in The Sugar Club in Dublin on Tuesday night, following input from over 25,000 IMRO members,
The ceremony featured performances from Florence Road, F3miii, Annie-Dog, and DJ Maria Lawlor and featured representatives from Safe Gigs Ireland, who were honoured for their work in promoting safety, inclusivity, and diversity within the Irish music industry.
Speaking last night, Eleanor McEvoy, Chairperson of IMRO, said, "Live music venues are the backbone of Ireland’s music culture. They create essential spaces where artists and audiences connect, and we are proud to celebrate the dedication of those who make live music possible."
