Gar begins to doubt Fergal and Jacinta's story in Tuesday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
As part of their revenge on Liam, Fergal and Jacinta staged an assault, claiming that Liam pushed Jacinta.
In Tuesday's episode, there's a standoff when Liam and Rayno insist that Fergal and Jacinta faked the assault.
Pointing at Liam, Fergal says to Gar: "Don't tell me you're going to believe this cretin over us."
"Whose side are you on here?" asks Jacinta.
"I want to believe you," Gar replies.
"But you don't, do you?" presses Fergal.
