Fontaines D.C. have won International Group of the Year at the Brit Awards for the second time.
The organisers of the event said that the award was given to the Irish band in recognition of their global reach and success.

The I Love You singers, who are based in London, won the same award in the same category at the 2023 Brits.
This year they were up against Linkin Park, Amyl and the Sniffers, Confidence Man and Future & Metro Boomin.
Speaking via Video link from Australia, where they are currently touring, they said that they were not expecting to win the award a second time.
On the video link, front man Grian Chatten said: "Hey Brit Awards it's Fontaines D.C, we are here in Australia, and we are buzzing with this, thanks very much, We weren't expecting to get this a second time, this year in particular, we were up against some really great people in that category.
"Amyl And the Sniffers, if you are there, we are sorry we are not there having a drink with you, you are one of the most inpiring bands in the world at the minute."
"And this is from all of us thanks so much from the Fontaines, thanks, cheers." Fontaines added.

Last year, the band released their fourth album, Romance. It followed their acclaimed 2022 album Skinty Fia, which reached number one in the Irish and UK album charts.
Fontaines D.C. are due to return to Europe for further dates in June.
Also at last night's Brits, British artist Charli XCX won five awards following the success of her 2024 album Brat.

Meanwhile, there were further Irish dedications, after US star Chappell Roan won international artist of the year, along with her song Good Luck, Babe! beinh named international song of the year.
While not in attendance at the awards, she left a pre-recorded message that dedicated her award to Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor, trans artists, drag queens, fashion students and sex workers.
"I'm so sorry that I cannot be there tonight to celebrate with you, but thank you to the Brits for honouring me and recognising me", she said in a video acceptance speech.
"Thank you to my team and my fans all over the world, but especially to my UK girlies, you have been there since day one, and Chappell Roan was born through experiencing queer joy.

"It's so special, I had to write an entire album about it.
"I dedicate this to trans artists, to drag queens, to fashion students, sex workers and Sinéad O'Connor.
"Because of all those people, they have laid the groundwork for me to be here today."
