It's all eyes on Mairéad and Dean in Friday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player as their friendship reaches the fork in the road.
In Friday's episode, Mairéad excitedly shares news of her tormentor Tyler's departure from Carrigstown.
"I don't think I could've got through this without you, Dean, and I mean that," she says.
"Hey, I wasn't going to let you fight that on your own," Dean replies.
"I don't know if I could have," says Mairéad.
Dean then kisses her.
