Doug smells a rat in Tuesday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Doug's father Pete and neighbour Paul recently sold a car and fiddled the garage's books.
Now, Paul wants Pete to take up a deal on a fleet of vehicles - and Paul has suggested bringing Doug into the fold.
In Tuesday's episode, there's an awkward meeting between the three.
"Did you not stop to think maybe you're stealing profits from your own job?" Pete asks Doug.
"The irony!" scoffs Paul.
"You stay out of this," warns Pete.
"What do you mean 'irony'?" replies Doug. "What's going on, lads? What are yiz up to?"
