Hi there! My name is Clara Gardiner, and I am honoured to be representing the Green and Red of Mayo in this year's Rose of Tralee.
I am 24 years old, and I hail from a small village called Kilfian in north Mayo. I am blessed to have the incredible scenic views of Downpatrick Head, Céide Fields, and Néphin, to name but a few, on my doorstep.
I am a proud mummy to my son, Noah, who turned three on 7 August this year, just before I started my journey on the Rose tour!
I am also a full-time student in St Angela's, Sligo, studying a Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics Education.
In my spare time, I love singing and playing my guitar at weddings, gigs, or anywhere I can go! I also enjoy running, reading, baking, travelling, and creating art.
I am so excited for the journey ahead and the experiences the next two years as Mayo Rose will bring. I will hopefully meet you somewhere along the way!
