Dia dhuit, my name is Katelyn, I'm 20, and I hail from the small village of Ballyouskill, which sits on the Laois and Kilkenny border.
I grew up on a dairy farm, where my love for the outdoors blossomed.
I am currently in my third phase of an electrical apprenticeship with Alpha Drives Ltd, and I hope to do an engineering degree in the future.
I'm an outgoing and adventurous individual who truly thrives on socialising and meeting new people. I have developed a strong love for travelling in recent years and love learning about different cultures.
I have won two county finals while playing camogie with my local club, and I love going set dancing and jiving with my family and friends.
I am chairperson of the North Kilkenny Macra club, which has allowed me to meet so many new people and form connections all over Ireland.
I am so honoured to take part in the amazing Rose of Tralee International Festival 2025 and meet my fellow Rose sisters.
