Guten Tag, I'm Sarah, and I'm proud to represent Germany at this year's Rose of Tralee Festival.
I was born and raised in Augsburg, Bavaria, and grew up bilingually thanks to my German father and Tipperary mother. Spending most summers in Ireland deepened my love for both cultures, and I still return whenever I can.
I work as a clinical research associate, where I'm passionate about bringing new treatments to patients through clinical trials. Knowing my work can offer hope and save lives gives purpose to every day. I also recently completed my Mental Health First Aider course, as I believe mental well-being is just as vital as physical health.
Outside of work, I love travelling in my campervan and being in nature - whether hiking, cycling, or diving in the oceans.
As a Rose, I hope to inspire young girls to pursue careers in science and believe in their potential.
I'm honoured to be part of this celebration of heritage and connection, and I'm excited to share this journey with incredible women from around the world.
