Steo advises Carol to give his father JJ a wide berth in Friday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Carol has been having a festive fling with JJ, but in a quiet moment in The Station, Steo tells her to take off the rose-tinted glasses.
"If I were you, I'd steer clear of me da," he says.
"Why?" asks Carol.
"Surname alone not put you off?" says Steo.
"You're a Nash. I kept you on, didn't I?" Carol replies.
