A humiliated Tyler admits to Hughie that he lives off his family's money but has been cut off in Christmas Eve's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
In Tuesday's episode, Hughie gives Tyler notice to vacate The Pod.
Tyler tells him: "When I sort everything out, I'll pay what I owe. Every cent."
"I've got overheads," Hughie replies. "I can't do it on promises."
"Please," begs Tyler, "I don't have anywhere else to go."
