Social media star and Dancing with the Stars hopeful Kayleigh Trappe is set to bring festive Fair City drama to Carrigstown this Christmas Day, stepping into the role of Daisy, the latest love interest of James Rafferty.
In an hour-long Fair City special, Daisy's unexpected arrival at Emma Rafferty's Christmas party stirs up a whirlwind of mystery and tension.
After a chance nightclub encounter, Daisy turns up uninvited to the family gathering, catching everyone off guard.
Her appearance sparks curiosity and unease among the guests, particularly Emma (James's mother), who is visibly unsettled.

As tensions rise, the party takes a chaotic turn, culminating in public humiliation for James. Long-time Fair City favourite Carol Foley seizes the moment to relish in James's misfortune, adding to the spectacle of disarray.
Reflecting on her debut in the iconic soap, Trappe shared her excitement: "The bright lights of Fair City! It's the Holy Grail of Ireland, so I am absolutely buzzing.
"I never would have thought when I watched it with my Granny a few years ago that I'd be on it, but I hope she'd be proud."

Trappe, known for her lip-sync videos on social media, was drawn to the fun and festive nature of the storyline. "The episode being on Christmas Day is the best part! I knew they were going to make it a bit fun, which is what I do. So when I read the role, I thought, 'Yes! Perfect!'"
Describing her character, Trappe teased: "Daisy is a little bit of a rascal. She likes to stir the pot - she wouldn't be unlike myself. But she definitely has people talking about her - all good…ish things!"
