Georgie can't believe what he's hearing from Fergal in tonight's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
In the aftermath of Georgie's split from Ronan, Georgie confronts Fergal about his toxic behaviour towards Ronan.
However, Georgie doesn't anticipate what happens next.
"Let go of me!" he says as Fergal grabs his arm.
"You're well rid of him," says Fergal. "Now there's no reason why you and me can't be together."
"What?!" says Georgie.
"I'm asking you will you go out with me," Fergal replies.
